YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 14, ARTSAKHPRESS. Chaired by Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, chairman of the interdepartmental commission for the preparation and organization of the European Weightlifting 2023 championship, a session of the commission was held, ARTSAKHPRESS.was informed from the press service of the Government.
At the beginning of the meeting, Arayik Harutyunyan noted that there are only a few weeks left for the championship and in the final stage, it is already necessary to understand and summarize the work done and the works to be done in the future.
The members of the commission discussed the course of preparatory work for the holding of the European adult weightlifting championship. Details of the work done and still in progress by each department were presented.
Arayik Harutyunyan gave instructions on the upcoming activities and emphasized the necessity and importance of organizing the championship held in Armenia for the first time at a high level.
The championship will be held in Yerevan on April 15-23 at the K. Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The opening ceremony of the championship will take place on April 14.
