YEREVAN, JUNE 5, ARTSAKHPRESS. Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and Open Government Partnership-Armenia Coordinator Arayik Harutyunyan received the delegation of “Open Government Partnership” Initiative, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister’s Office said.
Arayik Harutyunyan stressed the importance of cooperation with the OGP initiative in Armenia in increasing the level of transparency, accountability and introducing innovation.
Arayik Harutyunyan noted that within the process, effective mechanisms have been implemented in the areas of combating corruption, efficient management of public resources, public participation, and the introduction of innovative solutions.
Regional Coordinator of OGP for the Eastern Partnership countries, Peter Varga, highly appreciated the efforts and determination of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to increase transparency, accountability of institutions, and public participation. Peter Varga noted that the OGP is ready to continue supporting the implementation of the reform agenda of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
