At the moment, there are no agreement on mutual visits to attend matches between football teams of Armenia and Turkey

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 15, ARTSAKHPRESS. Ruben Rubinyan, the special representative of Armenia in the negotiations for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey, summarized the results of the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Turkey in Ankara.

Ruben Rubinyan emphasized that during the meeting an agreement was reached to restore the Ani bridge. “Today Ararat Mirzoyan and I visited Ankara and met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. It was agreed that the Ani bridge, part of which is located in Armenia and the other part in Turkey, will be restored with joint efforts,” Rubinyan said.

Referring to the Margara bridge, Rubinyan emphasized that it has already been proven by experience that this bridge is in normal operating condition, stressing that during the meeting in Ankara, an agreement was reached to speed up the process in this direction.

Answering the question of ARMENPRESS whether any upcoming meeting has been scheduled, Rubinyan answered, “No, not at the moment.”

And to the question whether there will be mutual visits related to the upcoming matches of the national football teams of Armenia and Turkey, Rubinyan said that there are no such agreements at the moment.
