YEREVAN, MAY 5, ARTSAKHPRESS. 32 Belgian and French politicians, public figures and representatives of organizations issued a joint statement condemning the establishment of the Azerbaijani checkpoint on the Hakari bridge, on the Lachin corridor in Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh, the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy (EAFJD) said in a press release.
In the statement, they call on the Azerbaijani government to fulfill its obligations, immediately open the Lachin corridor, remove the checkpoint, end the hostile policy against the native Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh/ Artsakh and act as a responsible member of the international community.
