YEREVAN, MARCH 29, ARTSAKHPRESS. United States President Joe Biden said on Tuesday he was concerned about the possibility that Russia would send tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, Reuters reports.
“They haven’t done that yet,” Biden told reporters at the White House. “It’s worrisome.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans on Saturday to station tactical nuclear weapons in neighboring Belarus. Putin said the move was triggered by the UK’s decision to provide Ukraine with armor-piercing rounds containing depleted uranium.
