YEREVAN, JANUARY 6, ARTSAKHPRESS. A farmer working in his tractor in the village of Hatsi in Artsakh’s (Nagorno Karabakh) Martuni region came under Azeri small arms fire on January 6.
Nagorno Karabakh police said that the farmer – I. Abrahamyan, a resident of Hatsi village – contacted law enforcement agencies and said that around 13:00, January 6, while working in his Belarus 82-1 tractor in the fields known as Kaghnun Tak of Hatsi village, he came under automatic small arms fire from the adjacent Azerbaijani military position.
The agricultural work was suspended.
The Martuni police department notified the Russian peacekeepers on the incident.
