BTA. Stara Zagora Opera Performs Tchaikovsky in Germany, Netherlands

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARTSAKHPRESS. The Stara Zagora State Opera ballet and orchestra began their two-month international tour, the organization said on its official website on Sunday. The artists will perform Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and The Nutcracker a total of 41 times in Germany and the Netherlands.

The Opera’s first stop was Lelystad, the Netherlands, with a staging of The Nutcracker. Next, this ballet will be performed at the Luxor Theater in Rotterdam on December 13 led by the Prima Ballerina Silviya Tomova.

Audiences in Bonn can see The Nutcracker on December 14 and 15, and Swan Lake on December 22 and 23.

In 2023 the tour continues with Swan Lake in Groningen on January 3, in Utrecht on January 8, and in Maastricht on January 12.

The Stara Zagora State Opera tour also includes Antwerp, Hoogeween, and Eindhoven, among others. The last stop will be in Veenendaal, the Netherlands, on January 22.

The orchestra will perform under the batons of Ivaylo Krinchev and Vladimir Boshnakov. Yulian Stoyanov is the concertmaster, and the soloists will be Aneliya Dimitrova, Margarita Sidorkina, Carmen Demirtash, and Demyan Reshetnyak.
