Deputy PM Grigoryan and EBRD Vice President exchange ideas on infrastructure development in Armenia

YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARTSAKHPRESS. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the delegation led by Mark Bowman, the Vice President for Policy and Partnerships at the EBRD, who arrived in Armenia on a regional visit.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the office of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, during the meeting, the progress of the projects implemented in Armenia with the EBRD and possible new directions of cooperation were discussed. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of EBRD cooperation with the private sector, stressing its importance in terms of developing business culture in Armenia and increasing the transparency of businesses.

The interlocutors exchanged ideas on issues related to infrastructure development, in particular, road construction and cooperation in the energy sector. Reference was also made to the role of EBRD in the development of the stock market.
