YEREVAN, JANUARY 23, ARTSAKHPRESS. For ensuring the security of the territory of Armenia the government will try all measures because the existing measures are insufficient, Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan told reporters.
When asked whether or not there is a change of vector towards the West in context of the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar’s visit to Armenia, Speaker Simonyan said there is no issue of a vector, but there is an issue of ensuring security.
“For ensuring the security of the territory of Armenia we will try all measures because the existing measures are insufficient for us,” Simonyan said.
