FM Mirzoyan, FM Lavrov discuss settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 10, ARTSAKHPRESS. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov on February 10.

“Ararat Mirzoyan warmly congratulated Sergey Lavrov on Diplomat Day. The ministers exchanged ideas around a number of relevant issues on the bilateral agenda, expressing willingness to strengthen the allied relations between Moscow and Yerevan,” the Russian foreign ministry said in a read-out. It said that the phone call was made at the initiative of the Armenian side. “The issue of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was discussed. The Russian side underscored the importance of swift resumption of the implementation of the 9 November 2020, 11 January and 26 November 2021 and 31 October 2022 highest-level trilateral agreements, including the unblocking of all transport and economic connections in the region, the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, agreeing on the parameters of the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, as well as promoting dialogue between public figures, experts and parliamentarians.”
