YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARTSAKHPRESS. French Senator Pierre Ouzoulias has said that the Azerbaijani checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor is a violation of international law.
“Azerbaijan violated international law by installing a checkpoint in the beginning of Lachin Corridor. This step adds on to the long list of perfidious steps that Baku has already taken. The international community must immediately support Armenia,” the French Senator tweeted.
Azerbaijan installed a checkpoint on Lachin Corridor on April 23 in violation of the 9 November 2020 trilateral statement. The U.S., France, Russia and the EU have expressed concern over the checkpoint.
