YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARTSAKHPRESS. The government should form a vision to reveal the Diaspora’s potential and use it maximally effectively, Executive Director of My Step Foundation, Chairman of the Yerevan Chess Federation, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, said during the Global Armenian Summit in Yerevan.
“There is no point in thinking that one day we will be able to map 100% of the Diaspora’s potential. But we have a clear task to reveal the potential as much as possible. Unfortunately, we are still at the stage of revealing the potential”, he stated.
After seeing the daily challenges here, many Diaspora-Armenians seek to reach to government, local economic, scientific and technological structures to propose their solutions. According to him, this solution of the issue is not institutional.
“The institutional approach relates to state strategies. The government should know the clear vision how to reveal the Diaspora’s potential and how to work to use it maximally effectively”, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan said.
