YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARTSAKHPRESS. Nobel Prize laureate Ardem Patapoutian is calling for actions over the blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
“We need the international community to pay attention to Azerbaijani government’s inhumane actions against Armenians,” the molecular biologist and neuroscientist tweeted. “Many have condemned the blockade but action is needed,” Patapoutian added, tagging United States Congressmen Mike Levin and Adam Schiff.
Patapoutian also shared a CNN article on the blockade.
Azerbaijan is keeping the Lachin Corridor blocked since December 12, 2022. The blockade has led to a severe humanitarian crisis in Nagorno Karabakh.
