YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, ARTSAKHPRESS. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces are located in territory of Armenia for already 30 years, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference, reminding that from the beginning of the 1990s the Azeri military occupied over 70 square kilometers of territory of Armenia, namely in Tavush and Ararat provinces.

“Yes, also during the past one and a half years, from May of 2021 Azerbaijan occupied more territories of Armenia. Our position is that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces must withdraw from our territory. We will coherently utilize all diplomatic means to achieve this goal,” PM Pashinyan said. He emphasized that it is important for the Armenian side not to become the reason of a new provocation, thus “our actions proceed from this logic.”
