YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARTSAKHPRESS. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin refused to comment how the issue of the status of Nagorno Karabakh is offered to be resolved with the possible peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“I’d like to emphasize that the discussion on the peace treaty is proceeding directly between Baku and Yerevan,” Galuzin told RIA Novosti in an interview.

He added that Russia is only providing support to the sides as stipulated in the trilateral statement with results of the 31 October 2022 Sochi summit.

“Negotiations over such a sensitive topic are confidential. We don’t have the right to comment on its content, including over Nagorno Karabakh. It would only harm the work,” Galuzin said.
