YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARTSAKHPRESS. President of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan and President of the National Assembly of France Yaël Braun-Pivet discussed the current situation in the region and all issues resulting from the closure of the Lachin Corridor.
“We discussed the current situation in our region, we discussed all issues that emerged pertaining to the closure of the Lachin Corridor,” Speaker Alen Simonyan said at a joint press conference with Yaël Braun-Pivet in Yerevan. “I presented the current situation. I can say with certainty that our French partners are rather well informed and are closely following the processes taking place in Armenia, in Artsakh and around Lachin Corridor,” Simonyan added.
Simonyan thanked Yaël Braun-Pivet for all initiatives of France, as well as President Emmanuel Macron for his efforts to establish peace in the region.
