YEREVAN, DECEMBER 4, ARTSAKHPRESS. The peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation carrying out a mission in Nagorno-Karabakh continues to perform its tasks, ARMENPRESS reports the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said in a message.
“The command of the force continues negotiations with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides on the issue of restoring traffic on the Stepanakert-Goris road (Lachin Corridor – ed.),” the message says.
Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation and the maintenance of the ceasefire regime around the clock in thirty observation posts.
Since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan keeps the only road connecting Artsakh to the world, the Lachin Corridor, closed, citing false environmental reasons.
