YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARTSAKHPRESS. Escalation by Azerbaijan is worrying, ARTSAKHPRESS.reports former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen wrote in his Twitter microblog, referring to the installation of a checkpoint by Azerbaijan in the Lachin Corridor.
“If Baku continues to flout its international commitments and binding court orders from the International Criminal Court, there must be political and economic consequences,” Rasmussen said.

Since December 12, Azerbaijan continues to close the only highway connecting Artsakh to the world, the Lachin Corridor, citing false environmental reasons. Once again grossly violating the provisions of the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, since April 23 has closed the Hakari bridge in the Lachin Corridor, illegally installing a checkpoint.
