STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 24, ARTSAKHPRESS. President of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan held a meeting with heads of government agencies and executives of several businesses on December 24.

Speaker of Parliament Artur Tovmasyan and State Minister Ruben Vardanyan also participated in the meeting. The military-political situation resulting from the Azerbaijani blockade of Artsakh was presented.

President Harutyunyan said that since December 3 Azerbaijan is using the environmental pretext to make demands which are unacceptable for Artsakh. The President called for unity of the people and the political arena to withstand the challenge.

The national rally on December 25 in Stepanakert must once again affirm the people’s decisiveness to live in their own country, the president said.
