YEREVAN, APRIL 24, ARTSAKHPRESS. French Senator Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, the Chairman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group, has called for more support to Armenia in addition to the EU monitoring mission’s activities.
He said that they must help arm Armenia.
“Azerbaijan has violated Armenia’s territorial integrity. Our stance is expressed by my colleagues in the Senate. What the EU is doing through its monitoring mission is good, but we must allow Armenia to ensure the security of its borders, meaning, we must help Armenia arm itself,” the Senator told reporters in Armenia. He is visiting Armenia on the Armenian Genocide Commemoration Day.
