YEREVAN, APRIL 3, ARTSAKHPRESS. A woman suspected of killing Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky has been detained, the country’s Investigative Committee announced on Monday.

Darya Trepova was earlier placed on Russia’s wanted list.

Tatarsky, whose real name was Maksim Fomin, was speaking at an event at a café in central St. Petersburg on Sunday evening when a bomb went off, killing him and injuring 32 others, according to RT.

Witnesses said that a young woman – suspected to be Trepova – had given Tatarsky a figurine as a gift shortly before the blast.

Meanwhile, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia accused Ukraine of orchestrating the bombing. The agency said that the “terrorist act” against Tatarsky was “planned by Ukrainian special services” with the involvement of people who have cooperated with an anti-corruption foundation created by jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. It noted that the arrested suspect was an “active supporter” of Navalny’s group, the Associated Press reported.
