YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, ARTSAKHPRESS. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern regarding the recent acts of violence and vandalism targeting Christian religious institutions in Jerusalem.
“We are deeply concerned by recent acts of violence and vandalism targeting Christian religious institutions in Jerusalem including Armenian Patriarchate and the Armenian residents of the Old City,” Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan tweeted.
Assailants attempted to vandalize the building of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Two other incidents involving attacks on Armenians took place in Jerusalem the same day. Furthermore, a day before an Armenian restaurant in Jerusalem was attacked.
